Thank you for visiting the online home of the Newton Christian Youth Softball League.   NCYSL offers co-ed softball for ages 4-15 and stresses sportsmanship, fun, and fair-play.   Over 400 children participated in the 2003 season -- in addition to the many volunteers who make the league possible. 2008 Registration

Tryouts: Tryouts will be held on March 29 and April 5 from 9:30 am to 1 pm.  You only need to attend one day.  

Cost is $25 per child and includes jersey.

The Coaches meeting will be held at CCC on April 17^th at 7:30 pm, and team assignments will be made at that time.

Each coach will contact his/her team members about the first practice, which will be held during the week of April 21-26.

Opening weekend of 2008 season will be May 9-10.

All games will be played at Covington Christian Church fields. Our emphasis is on providing a league for young people to play softball while still showing Christian character and having lots of fun.

Our aim is to have a Christian attitude displayed at all times on the field, in the dugouts, and in the stands. We expect everyone in the program as a participant or spectator to do his or her best to see that this is accomplished. Remember this is a totally volunteer league and we need your help in many areas,
